Makro online delivery beware

In the past had satisfactory service. Placed an order on the 28th August 2025, Friday morning 29th August 2025 get a sms (at 06h20) that they will deliver 29/08/2025 between 08h00-20h00 . Wasted my whole Friday afternoon waiting. Then Saturday comes nothing again.

??Used their "whatsapp" chat, they stated there is a delay with the courier picking up the items?? How if I received a delivery sms??

Called their contact centre who said they have escalated to the store.

Well I'm not surprised to not have heard anything. I'm not going to be under "house arrest" because of the terrible communication.
