Makro online and Value Express - pitiful service

I was stupid enough to purchase a new washing machine online from Makro. I bought it on 09/12/24 and delivery was going to be before 12/12/24. Needless to say its s now15./12 and I am still waiting for the machine to be delivered. I made numerous phone calls to the online centre as well as tried 50 times to contact the supposed courier company (ValueExpress - who allow their telephone to ring for 30 minutes without answering). The online centre assures me that they have escalated my query to the courier company ( not sure how they could have done that when they don’t answer the phone on the number they gave me. Needless to say Makro you have lost a customer for good through your *********** staff and useless courier company. Anyone buying from Makro and expecting goods to be delivered timeously - I suggest you take your business elsewhere to a company that actually cares.
