Makro Online

Bought a sleeper couch from the Makro website and Tovanite was their supplier that I actually bought it from it seems. They sent me the sleeper couch with no feet. They had to courier the feet to me, when I got it, I could see the *****s to attach the feet were random *****s that were picked from a bunch laying around in their warehouse and there was no instructions as to where exactly fasten the feet. A couple of months later (almost 6 months and still under warranty) the couch collapsed on the inside while I was sitting on it. I logged a return and weeks later a courier came to pick it up. Weeks later I had to follow up and they said that they wont refund as there are cat hair on it and signs of misuse... They sent photos of the damage to the couch that was not there before the courier took it. It was raining the day they picked it up but the thing that bothered me was that they flipped the couch on it's side and put it on a folding nose trolley... I could hear how the couch was manhandled into the back of their truck. I should have taken photos but I don't think it would have helped as they already made up their minds that they wont be giving me a refund. This experience is now going to prevent me from buying anything online from makro again, and I have bought very expensive appliance from Makro. So now Makro is just relaying messages between me and Tovanite.
