Makro online

Be very careful buying from Makro online. I placed my order on the Makro mobile app and paid with my Absa Credit Card. Next day I receive a sms explaining that I will receive a e-mail as the item is not in stock and they cancelled the order. Receiving the e-mail it stated that I will be refunded in 7-14 business days, which equates to 2-3 weeks. Absa refused to reverse the transaction as Makro sent a e-mail promising a refund, 2-3 weeks So Makro online banked the transaction knowing that they cancelled the order due to the fact that they have no stock. Please think twice before buying from them, I phoned them and all they say is sorry we understand but that's our policy. Absa Credit Card Division also refuses to reverse the transaction as they would rather protect Makro than their own client. Probably spent approx 3 hours on the phone with Absa and Makro online with no success.
