Makro not honoring price given by Makro assistant

I walked into Makro Centurion today with the sole intention of buying a PSVita and saw a PS4 special advertised on their floor. PS4 + PS4 camera + PS TV + God of War + Drive Club for R8499. I mentioned to the assistant that it was quite a good price and he mentioned that there was an extra promotion where they were giving an additional R1000 off, so it was now R7499. I told him i would like the PS4 bundle and he then added the game \The order 1886"as part of the promotion. When they rang up the full promotion it came to R7999. The assistant mentioned that someone had bought the exact same PS4 special on Wednesday 25 Feb 2015 and he paid R7499. He went and spoke to his manager to ask why the price had changed"
