Makro not allowing warranty upgrades as requested from Lenovo

<p>I bought a Lenovo IdeaPad Miix 300 from Makro Cape Gate. This device has a standard carry in warranty which, according to Lenovo, I can upgrade anytime within the warranty period. After contacting Makro to buy the extended warranty while the device is still in it's warranty perdio, Makro refused and stated that they only allow warranty upgrades within the first 30 days after the purchase. I contacted Lenovo and they confirmed that I'm supposed to be able to buy the extended warranty, but Makro simply refuses.</p>
