Makro misleading customers with price displays.

My family and I were at Makro Cornubia store today, and were looking to buy a washing machine. The price displayed was R9999,00. The consultant spent about 15min with us explaining the features of the LG machine and Sumsung machine which were on display side by side. After carefully looking at both machines, We were ready to conclude the sale when another consultant came through and informed us that the price was actually R5000 more than was actually displayed. So you allow your client to fall in love with an item and them reveal the actual price.. deception I was very disappointed and the department manager simply put it down to human error and was not willing to assist any further. He said if we read the label we could have seen that the price was incorrect. Well his staff also obviously can't read because they inserted the incorrect price into the display card. He asked us to refer the issue to head office for further assistance. My expectation was to.pay the price that was on display, and for the team to apologize for their mistake. But they took no responsibility, in fact the manager said that customers move price tags, and they have no control over that.
