Makro Market Place Seller Portal

We at Artistic Office Furniture have been in the furniture business for the last twenty years.

As part of the ever changing nature of business and technology, we formed a business partnership with Makro Market Place to launch our furniture online to the general public.

As of recently, Makro underwent developmental portal changes. This was set for 16/05/2024. As sellers on the Makro Portal, we had attended their webinar training on the supposed new Seller Portal, and had made the necessary changes on our side.

On 17/05/2024 we had received notifications that the new Makro Seller Portal was officially “live”. We then logged onto the supposed new “live” portal, only to discover that it was in fact not live, but also our entire product range was not uploaded, our banking details were incorrect and were the company’s VAT number, as well as no new orders or return notifications.

During this upgrade process, you can only contact Makro via one email channel: ***. No one answers via this communication channel and previous contact persons do not answer either.

We have obviously been late notified that Makro is experiencing “delays” with their new platform and on boarding process however, no one from their organisation has bothered to reach out to us here at Artistic.

We are at a point, seriously rethinking this so called “business partnership” with Makro.
