Makro Loans Blames Pandemic for Poor Service

Good day,

I requested a settlement amount on the 19 March 2020 which was R564.83, Which I paid the amount on the same day. Since then I have made countless phone calls and spent hours on the phone to the call center. I have asked for managers to phone me back, yet to no prevail. The call center agents have on a recorded line said that the account will be closed and that the additional interest which they say that I owe will be credited. It is now the 21 May, I phoned in this morning to find out more interest has been added on and that I will have to wait for a manager to phone me back once again!! This is unacceptable that this pandemic is used as a scapegoat and that you are unable to help out a client who actually settled my account before the pandemic. This is how Makro Loans apparently treats its clients. Fair warning
