Makro has a policy that no verbal quote is legal

I asked how many sliced of ham will I get in a kilo I was told about 80 slices when I returned the following day the price worked out far much more as there were less slices in a kilo the ham was sliced to thick. Mr Lillie the food manager informed me that unless I had a written quote the verbal quote meant nothing as it is not legal. I asked him if this is Makro's attitude and he said yes it is. There is far much more to this story than I can share here I'm pretty livid and now I am going to inform the public in everyway that I can of Makro's policy we are entitled to be informed
