Makro Germiston-useless and pathetic
Bought a lawn mower in Oct 2018 which broke in Dec 2018 with 1 year guarantee! Returned it and got a call to say that it will cost R 1700 to repair an item that cost me R 1157.00!!!I had to buy a new one which included a **** trimmer(Ryobi) Needless to say this Ryobi broke 1 month later( also guaranteed for 1 year) Got a call this week to say that I have to pay R 450 to repair! When I called and insisted that they replace-their only response was that I have to speak to Ryobi? Do they know the Consumer Protection Act? Will definitely report this to the Consumer Protection Council-Stopped buying from Makro!

Elizabeth Sekwate the returns manager at Makro Germiston also never came back to me and it is over 2 weeks back now? Is that the service that you pride yourselves on?
