Makro Gas refill always short by 0.5kg at least ?
I am based on Centurion and all the time I go to refill my 9kg cylinder at Makro Centurion. I hear people criticizing about the refilling process which is always short by at least 0.5kg but never bothered to measure it at home. Yesterday we filled the cylinder and while at home I saw the measuring instrument is lying at my garage. Surprisingly I found that is short by 0.8kg. I know this amount is NOT a big deal for individuals but makes a BIG amount for black market at the end of the day. I am going to ask for refund of 0.8kg at Makro return now now. Let's see what they say. I will update accordingly.

15 Oct 2022, 12:21I spoke to the manager and he was very helpful. He tried to go to the bottom of the issue and assured me to get the system updated with the technical team. The main issue here is - the refill pipe and it's head is almost 0.5 to 1kg who's weight is also added into your bill. He thanked me for brining this into their attention and to make me happy - he offered me something small. Now let's see how quickly they find a solution. I will update this review accordingly.
