MAKRO - FALSE BLACK FRIDAY ADVERTISING

SIMPLY NOT RIGHT! I bought items on the Black Five Day online sale that Makro had over the Black Friday period. (November 2018) I bought these items online and all items showed in stock and available. I did the check out and PAID for all the items, this was on the 21st of November 2018.

Last week on the 13th of December my delivery at last arrived (after I called the call center and requested urgent delivery). BUT four items were not delivered. I contacted Makro today, to be told that I cancelled the four items and that a refund will be done to me. This is simply UNACCEPTABLE! I certainly did not cancel any items....all that happened here is that my delivery was low on the list and by the time Makro got to full-fill my order and deliver to me... my four items were out of stock, so they just cancel those items and delivered what they had. How can we allow and accept that one of SA's biggest online vendors can take orders, take the payment but then not be able to deliver the items. FALSE and misleading adverti*****t. These items were my Christmas Gifts.... and I thought Makro is a trust worthy retailer.... Surely.....all orders are recorded and reserved???? I am writing this review so other customers of Makro can see that they should not rely on what they have ordered and paid for to be delivered!!! HIGHLY disappointed Makro! Corne
