MAKRO FALSE ADVERTISING & FAULTY PRODUCTS

I purchased a Asus VivoBook flip 14 on the Makro website after looking at the impressive specs in the details provided on the website & was excited to receive my new purchase. Delivery took roughly 5 days. After the time using the product I had realized that an essential feature had been missing ; Numberpad 2.0 a feature on the website that states that the feature turns the TouchPad into an LED-illuminated numeric pad. I tried all ways possible & finally realized that the feature was missing.

Alarmed about the missing feature ; I started comparing what was described on the website to what I received & was startled to realize that I've been duped.

The ad states powered by an AMD Ryzen7 5700U processor with 16GB memory and features a 1TB PCIe® SSD which contradicts the title of the ad described as AMD Ryzen5-5500u with 256 ssd and 8gb ram is what I received.

Reading along further it mentions AMD Ryzen™ 7 5700U processor and 16GB RAM are ready to handle any task.

The website also states Integrated Intel WiFi 6. The model I received was WiFi 5

To top it all of as using the machine I found that the battery had been draining rather fast even when not connected to wifi & having display settings set to under 50 brightness.

All on all this has been a Terrible experience as I was very excited to have purchased a new laptop from Makro & was Terribly Disappointed to know that I've been cheated into thinking I'd get what the website described vs what was shipped to me.

It's extremely inconvenient as I work from home & I'm left without a device.

This level of deception of consumers is not on. I honestly feel cheated & put to an inconvenience having to ship my product back.

The item is Faulty because the Battery Drains way too fast for a new device. The product could not switch on when I got it, it had no standby power. Had to charge for 3 hours before use as specified in the user manual. That likely tells me the products probably been in storage for a long period of time that even the standby time life on the battery depleted. The battery running out fast in the fast few days of use is very uncharacteristic of a new device & leaves me in all kinds of doubt. The item was picked up & assessed according to them. Then returned to me without any explanation. I waited more than 2 weeks to get the correct product & they send me back the same faulty product which does not even match the specifications on the website. No communication from Makro at all since received the faulty item back.
