Makro Fails Online

Online purchase 13Dec24. Product shipped from Makro branch, Strubensvalley. After delays and promises I finally received order on 17Dec24. On closer inspection, did not unwrap the product, noticed that the product was severely damaged through obvious mishandling. I lodged a product return and was informed that it would be collected on 23Dec24, which never happened. As the festive season was in the way I continued my query for product return on 6 Jan25. As usual nobody answered a phone or rep**** my email query. Eventually a call center lady assisted and tried to locate someone at Strubensvalley branch. She gave up eventually, apologized and ask if I could contact the branch today at 9am. Nobody answered the phones. What to do? The total incompetence of Makro Online is obvious. Total lack of commitment. I cannot recommend anybody purchasing any product from this outlet. "No Fuss Returns" , what a joke. Never again.
