Makro Failed to deliver online purchase dispite having called them to correct contact numbers

I bought KENWOOD PROSPERO KITCHEN MACHINE on Monday at Makro online. The order number is MAK***. The delivery date stated that it would be on Friday 27 October. on Wednesday I received an e-mail that said failed delivery. I investigated that and found that it seems like they tried to contact me and failed due to the number not working. I phoned Makro helpdesk number ***at 12h29 a call that lasted 4 minutes 45 seconds. I explained and asked the agent to get hold of their corria and update them with the correct number.

On Thursday again I received the same mail. On Friday 27 October 2023 I called Makro at 11h04 where the call lasted 9 minutes and 47 seconds and the agent assured me that my goods were going to be delivered today. I did let the agent know that the address was a business one and the company was closing at 16h00 p.m.

At 12h57 I received a mail notifying me of the failed delivery. At 14h41 I called Makro again to find out why the failed delivery e-mail. This time I spoke to an agent called himself Keith. I spent 40 minutes with this guy who refused to allow me to speak to his supervisor as I was not getting joy from him. He refused to call his curia to confirm if the order was going to be fulfilled on this day. He played number five between the court and the LM. He took my number saying that his LM was going to call me. It is now 18h53 and I have not received a call from anyone.

The unit is a present that has to be presented tomorrow 28 October 2023 and I don't have it. I regret why I went to buy at Makro online. It seems like Makro has no clue how to run the online shop. No one from the curia company sent me a communication e-mail to say, Mr. Themba, we're not able to get hold of you, please provide an alternative number.

I am so disappointed and I will never ever go to online Makro or refer anyone to them.
