Makro extended warranty failure

Makro extended warranty, policy 20 / 019226. A Samsung toploader washing machine bought on the 30.10.2017 with a 2 year manufacturers guarantee. A Makro extended warranty for 3 years thereafter. The washing machine stopped working two weeks after the manufacturers guarantee ended. Phone calls to Makro resulted in a reference number , 371158. and a promise that I would be phoned within 24 hours ( next day ) to arrange for the repairs. No further communications from Makro despite repeated phone calls by myself and promises that they would phone back within 24 hours - never did. Hopeless customer service !
