Makro earns interest by delaying refunds?

I Cancelled a purchase on 22 June 2020 to to longer waiting time for delivery than expected and was told I would be refunded within 7 days! Well after calls and emails I still have not received my refund, I get told that my bank wont accept the refund payment??? I get emails asking me to fill out a form with all my personal details twice now? Yesterday the call centre told me that the finance department has not authorized the payment and it is still pending??? Call center agents promise they will get answers and get back to me??? good luck with that promise. Is this incompetence or plain exploitation to earn interest on consumers money? In the mean time, as the I paid with my credit card I am having to pay the bank interest every month! Great ethics Makro.
