Makro discriminates against the aged
I am a pensioner and buy in bulk to make savings. What I buy lasts many months for a family of 4. I have 2 deep freezes to store consumables like flour and chicken and bread. This keeps food fresh longer.
Today I was savaged by an official at Makro for buying in bulk from the pensioner's counter which was not at all busy. Why this official should care what I buy in what quantities I would like Makro to explain.
In the meantime I will look into alternatives that do not mind me buying in bulk on a pension.
