Makro Disaster

I ordered cooldrinks on the 21st of August 2024. The delivery was to take place between 2-5 working days. The last expected day for delivery was the 28th August. This was fine with me because I ordered the cooldrinks for a function that is commencing on Friday the 30th. Since placing my order and making payment there was no communication from Makro. I called them today (2024/08/28) to enquire where is my order because I did not receive it yet. After much back and forth I was informed that my order was dispatched from Makro PMB and that the order was with the courier. Makro PMB said to me that my order may be delivered on Friday or the day after. That’s after my function would have started. I cancelled the order telephonically and was informed that my payment would be refunded 10 to 14 days later. Inconvenient. ***********.
