Makro - Customer service Stars

Saturday, 8th Oct, close to the end of the day, we rushed in to purchase a large torch. Gotcha, R499, headed to the till, swipe, R799..STOP...and I thought...here we go!!! The cashier, asked a colleague to go with my hubby to get the price off the shelf, the tag indicated that the item was different, then the supervisor was called in. I was expecting attitude and that's the price!!! The supervisor indicated that she would refer it to her manager and get back to us...well..I was happy to wait, and not pay an additional R300!! Upon her return, she tapped away on the till, they agreed the price was wrong and we then paid R459. I was very impressed with the manner in which this was dealt with and I shared this with both ladies - CUSTOMER SERVICE at its best! Well done to ALULUTHO MPAWANA and ZIYANDA MDLUDLU, you were both exceptional handling this transaction-Thank You!
