Makro Customer service non existing

I have been struggling with Makro since December 2018 I bought a "food processor" online, when i received it, it was not a food processor as advertised online. I took the machine in on the 27th of December 2018 to return it. I was told that the machine came from another vendor and they arranged for the vendor to collect the machine at my house at the latest 9th of January 2019. They never came to collect, I kept calling, and was told by numerous people they would follow up and let me know but never heard of them again. Eventually in June, someone send me a email that they cannot refund as it has been 6 months and they do not refund after 6 months. I returned it within weeks after purchase, stood at Makro Strubens Valley for 4 hours to sort it out (First with Customer services, then they send me to Lindo @ online purchases. They did not collect the machine as promised, even after I called monthly and then weekly.

Eventually after my first complain on hello peter, on 12 July the machine was collected, but now Makro has fallen back into their bad habits of ignoring the customer, again after numerous calls and emails, I still did not receive my refund. It has been over a month since the collection.

Terrible service - I will never buy from them again
