Makro credit gone missing!

Around June 2020 we bought a Ryobi lawn mover, three months later it was broken so we took it back to Makro who sent it away to be tested. The outcome was a refund. I received a call in November with a Ref number that it was credited to my online profile. 4 months later I tried redeeming the credit which was not there. The online call center referred us to physically visit the store (Grabouw to Montague) who then referred us back to the call center. Ottery branch manager Deon Naidoo then got involved saying he would sort it out as the item was dispatched from his store. Three weeks into dealings with Deon and still NOTHING. Now emails and phone calls get ignored. Makro has ****** our money and will not return it. The past 5 months dealing with them has been a nightmare with considerable time and money wasted trying to get what they promised. NEVER BUY ONLINE FROM THEM!!!
