Makro Credit Card Mess

I cannot being to comprehend the massive and sheer incompetence of Makro as a store chain. How in the hell can you accept a drivers license and/or ID book but not accept a passport as a form of identification. I mean they are all documents issued by the government. Does Makro not have a policy on acceptable forms of identification documents used by all stores? If so, are all stores aware? How can it be that different Makro stores have different stances on whether a passport can be used as a form of ID? Sheer and utter nonsense at its best. I’m severely disappointed.
