Makro Cornubia returns

As a loyal Makro Cornubia customer I am so disappointed at the staff and manager Naseef at the returns section. I have been dealing with Makro for a number of years and have spent a lot of money at this store. I purchased a microwave at Makro Cornubia on Saturday 25th November 2023, when we got home we realized that it did not fit into our kitchen unit, yes we did open the package, if you do not open it how would you know, there was no display of this item in store, if there was the salesperson did not show it to us. We took it back yesterday 26th November 2023 and the manager and the staff insisted that we used it, we did not use it, did not even plug it on, I did not appreciated the manner in which this was relayed to us, yes I did raise my voice there but to no avail. The manager, Naseef told my husband and I that he will not take this back, I tried explaining all I wanted was a bigger microwave, I was prepared to pay in the difference. They refused to take it back. Also the salepersons told me that this microwave had a ten year guarantee, I told him this cannot be right, seems like the staff is not trained adequately enough. I found the manager and staff at the returns department to be quite arrogant. To treat your loyal customers like this is unacceptable. Makro Cornubia, you have lost a loyal customer.
