Makro Cornubia - major waste of time

I wanted to buy an advertised fridge/freezer from the opening special catalogue for the new Cornubia store. I waited in line for 2.5 hours and was one of the first in store only to be told that there was a printing error in the advert and that they would not sell me the fridge at the advertised price. I then telephoned the store manager, Shaun, who agreed that the model and description of the fridge was correct but was not obligated to honor the price advertised. I wasted a day off work, waited in a long queue, made sure I was one of the first in the store and was not allowed to purchase the fridge even though no notice or announcement that such an error had been made. Excellent service Makro, wonderful way of keeping customers!
