Makro contravenes the POPI Act

I went to buy coffee that I couldn't find anywhere else. I dashed out during my lunch break. It was the biggest waste of time since the cashiers refused to sell me the coffee without a Makro card. This is a contravention of the POPI Act, if I do not want to share my information with Makro, I must not be forced.
