Makro contravene Consumer Act by not replacing rusted table

Bought a outside table and chairs in Jan 2025 at Makro Alberton. Found out that the product was never powder coated as indicated and has rust marks on it. When we took it back to Makro on 30 Jun 2025, Makro refuse to replace the table and said it MUST BE SENT TO THE SUPPLIER. Not sure what the supplier will do as there is NOTHING you can do once its rusted and I will not accept a modified table back. I am proceeding to the Consumer Ombudsman as the law is clear, the customer can select to replace, refund or repair. Now Makro removed our right to choose. Do not buy furniture from Makro.
