Makro Centurion sells junk and does not know what customer service means

I bought an ASUS laptop at Makro Centurion in December 2024 for R7999. Due to me working in Cape Town, I was only able to set it up at the beginning of March 2025 when I returned home. While I was busy setting it up, it crashed. I returned it to Makro Centurion on 8 March 2025. The Repairs Section staff said they had to return it to the manufacturer. I received an email a week later that the laptop had been sent to the manufacturer, which means it was laying in the store for an entire week. Since then, I only get feedback when I phone the Repairs Section and there has been no progress for a month. Prenita, whom I was told is handling my case, has been working on my refund for two weeks and was supposed to call me today. I was told she is in a meeting. I am clearly being given the runaround by the Makro staff. It is impossible to reach a manager. I asked Prenita for the name and contact details of the GM of Makro Centurion and she told me it is Reggie Munsamy and his number is ***. This number does not exist and Reggie Munsamy is listed as the GM of Makro SA. I have never faced such utter uselessness and lack of service!
