MAKRO CENTURION SELLING 2ND HAND APPLIANCES BUT STATING ITS BRAND NEW!!!

Pathetic and ********* service from makro centurion, on the 12th of December 2020 I had purchased a 7kg CANDY washing machine for R4500 I then went on holiday and returned back home on the the 4th of January 2021 which is when I started using my washing machine in the month of January I used it for a total of 8times and in the month of February I used it twice on the 13th of February 2021 I started experiencing really bad problems with the machine where it started to drop my earth leakage switch and there was a burning odor coming out from the washing machine, the drum started to make an increased amount of noise .

On the 15th of February 2021 I made my way to the store MAKRO CENTURION, on explaining what had accrued they refused to listen and replace my machine even though it was not 3 months old that's when I had enough and started to raise my voice and make a noise as this is my money involved they then agreed to change my machine for me I then was not comfortable taking the Candy machine and opted for the DEFY 7kg in which I paid an additional R500 In total it's now R5000 that i have paid for the machine excluding the transportation where I had to hire a bakkie to assist.

15th February 2021 the very same day I had brought my new DEFY mchine home I opened up the packaging ,read the instructions very carefully I then proceeded to remove the shipping and transportation bolts at the back of the machine and covered it with the caps provided then after I proceeded to remove the packaging from under neath the machine then I had opened up the machine door to remove the pipes for installation that's when I got a really bad odor from the drum of the machine however I didn't think anything I proceeded to install the pipes on Installation the pipes had visible signs if dirt and an excessive amount of water dripping out of the Pipe that's when i started to get a lil concerned and stated to investigate I had then noticed on the right hand side of the machine from the top to the bottom blocks of patches that are not removable then to correct my suspicion of it being a second hand machine I opened the drainage cap as if this is a brand new machine there will be no water in the drainage system,however once opened an excessive amount of water came out with a really bad odor, that is when I confirmed my suspicion of it being a second hand DEFY 7kg washing machine supp**** to me by MAKRO CENTURION.

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND MAKRO CENTURION IS VIOLATING CONSUMER PROTECTION RIGHTS BY SELLING ME A SECOND HAND WASHING MACHINE USED AND DAMAGED PRODUCT,THE CORRECT TERM TO USE IS NOW TO SAY THAT MAKRO CENTURION IS MISLEADING AND COMMITTING A CRIME OF FRUAD TO THEY CONSUMERS.
