Makro Centurion POOR customer care

We bought a Vodacom Power Tab 10”/3G/8GB + Kayboard at Macro Centurion on 12 February 2017. We gave the tablet in for repairs on 30 April at Macro Centurion, reference number: ********** . The keypad, which is supposed to protect the screen, cracked the screen in one corner. Only on 17 May, I received a SMS that the product has been received by the assessment/repair agent for evaluation.

I went to Macro Centurion on Saturday, 25 May to enquire about the tablet. The lady was quite adamant that I should actually only enquire about the product when 6 weeks has passed since the product was handed in. I asked her to please check with the Technicians why we haven’t received feedback yet. She said she captured my request on computer and someone will phone me on Monday, 29 May. Nobody phoned and I phoned Macro Centurion on Thursday 1 June.

Caroline told me that the tablet was send back to Macro on 19 May because we haven’t rep**** on the quotation send to us. I informed her that we did not receive a quotation and she agreed to phone Vodacom shop to send us the proof that the quotation was send. She phoned me back that same day informing me that she spoke to Didi at Vodacom and he said they send the tablet back to Macro Centurion and did NOT send us a quotation because they could not find anything wrong with the tablet!!! (CRACKED SCREEN??).

Caroline send the tablet back to Vodacom on that same day and said she will also inform her Manager the next day about my query (I insisted that this matter must be taken further – something did not add up).

Why was the tablet only received by the repair agents on 17 May (17 days after we handed it in at Macro Centurion)?
Why was the tablet send back to Macro on 19 May without even looking at the device?
Why didn’t Macro inform us sooner that the tablet is back, and especially when I went in person there on 25 May?

I posted the above on Makro's website and received a email from Chris Sepeng from Makro Centurion on Saturday, 3 June requesting that I should give him time to speak to Vodacom on Monday and he will then contact me on Monday with feedback (I DID NOT RECEIVE A PHONECALL FROM HIM).

Caroline however phoned me on 6June at 14;00 to inform me that she spoke to Didi at Vodacom and the Technician did not check in at the Vodacom shop yet.

I wrote an email to Chris Sepeng on 8 June asking AGAIN for feedback. He did not even bother to reply.
