Makro can't deliver product on price as advertised on front page add. Are they using this tactics to draw customers to the shop ???

On the newest add ,FRONT PAGE , Makro advertise ADDIS rough tote 110l , 2 for R150.00. I drove from Vredenburg to Cape town to buy this product. At the pay point I indicated to the cashier that the price is incorrect as she is charging me R150.00 each. I requested to see the manager Mr. Adrian Cupido. Indicated to him the add as received in RAPORT news paper on 2017/10/01. He said it was wrongly advertised and should have be advertised as R150 each and not 2 for R150. My frustration is that I drove nearly 300 km's in order to buy 6 of these items, at the Store there was no indication that there was a fault on the add. Only when I got to the pay point and saw the amount charged I informed the cashier that is not the price as advertised. I was so upset when the cashier indicated to me that there was a loose note inside one of the boxes indicating that it was wrongfully advertised and should be R150 per item and not 2 for R150 as advertised. Why did the store manager not put a clear note at the items itself indicating they made a fault on the add ??? It is humaluating to a customer to query a price at the pay point as all the customers is awaiting to finalise their payments. I feel that Makro did not do enough to indicate to me as customer that they wrongfully advertise this product. I spend a lot of money to get to the store solely to purchase this item as advertised. I will never take a Makro add in consideration again, I am of the opinion that they lure customers to the shop by placing adds with false prices on the front page . I will never buy at your store again and left all my other items at the pay point. What a bad experience!!!
