Makro cancels transaction unilaterally during dispute Makro raised on transaction they accepted

No respect for clients. No respect for CPA. No truth to there own tenants as displayed on there website. Poor customer service. One sided and hard handed approach to their query on a order which was accepted by Makro as per their own terms of use. I had No issue with the purchase and felt the transaction was valid. No personalisation of a serious issue of customer management. Makro accepted the online purchase and sent through confirmation of order and accepted the payment. This constitutes a legal contract accepted by Makro. While General Merchandise Manager promises head office will get back to me regarding Makros dispute of the transaction they blind side me, send a template email to state they will cancel transaction and then proceed to cancel. I'm still waiting like a fool for the formal head office reach out to me as a client. This query from Makro relates to successful purchase of tv on Saturday morning at 7 30ish. Went through entire legitimate purchase process, see Makro noting during purchase my clear saving of R9999 before they also accepted payment, sent through confirmation of order (which constitutes Makro acceptance of order as per their Terms of Use) and it was just delivery outstanding as per their own communication. Makro queries the transaction after the purchase is accepted and per discussion with store management , I noted I followed all their procedures for a legal transaction and thought i had a good deal which can be true during the time running to and during black Friday period of year. I noted I am happy with the deal and do not agree with their stance that it was a mistake and was told by Makro management someone from head office will contact me. I'm still waiting as at end of day Wednesday 12 November 2018. Management has gone quiet and probably wishing this case away. Transaction approved is now cancelled and I've got no tv. I guess they ***ards too and don't want to interact with clients over their own disputes. I guess in SA we don't adhere to our own ethics, we don't own up adequately and don't honor agreements when we can be one sided, bullies and non committal to true customer service.

The CPA is supposed to provide clarification that advertised prices should be honoured and in this period of deal hunting, promotions, items being greatly marked down and there actually being some gem of a deals expected, how can stores unilaterally cancel transactions they accepted and not adhere to CPA.

Shiraj. Purchaser of lovely Samsung tv at a bargain price not honoured by Makro. I thought i found by good deal during this period but Makro let us down.
