Makro ******** Breach Of POPI Act

Unsolicited emails from Makro suddenly started appearing in my inbox, though I don't remember setting foot in any of their substandard outlets in recent years. This leads me to believe they have acquired my contact information ********ly and have breached my right to privacy to peddle their trash. Further to this, the unsubscribe button clearly does not work, as I continue to receive almost daily spam. I've written to their complaints department which have predictably not bothered to respond.

Total disregard for the privacy of SA consumers, displaying conduct of a second-rate company. Boycott and shop elsewhere.
