Makro bait marketing

I recently purchased 2 air fryers through makros website at an extremely low price on special but the orders fulfilled by a third party seller they have listed. The following morning I then got a notice stating no stock.

I then ended up contacting the third party responsible for fulfilling the order directly and to my surprise find out there's still 18 units of stock available which I also have a recording off.

Ive attempted to contact makro multiple times and they give me the same copy past response of "no stock" not at all concerned that there's a bait marketing scheme running on their website.Ive sent emails with proof availability attached and just get ignored and ive phoned more times than I could count and they couldn't care less.

What they've done is ******* and im breach of the consumers protection act and i will be escalating the matter further.

Good day
As previously stated ive confirmed stock availability directly with the third party seller you guys have listed. So to tell me yet again there's no stock is a lie. This is now the 4th time ive gotten a copy paste response stating we are sorry it was canceled due to no stock.

But the fact that ive mentioned multiple times now that I contacted the third party seller directly and they've confirmed THERE IS STOCK continues to get ignored

You guys or the third party seller has the item listed at a ridiculously good price but won't fulfill orders at that price. I can get the item from the same people no problem at the normal price. This is not legal they cannot choose to state there's no stock when the price no longer suits them or you.

And as I write this review more than 48 hours after my order was canceled, the item is still on sale and listed as in stock on the makro website.I want my orders fulfilled.

This isnt a supplier its a 3rd party seller selling the product directly.simply through your website on the email sent to confirm the order it states the order is supp**** directly from this 3rd party seller aswell as on the website. This is the same 3rd party seller who confirmed stock availability 3 hours after canceling my order that they are supposed to supply.

If there is in fact stock of which I have proof. This is then in essence the seller refusing to sell the item at the marked down price. Section 30 states a supplier is required to sell the item at the price advertised and must ensure reasonable quantities of the item are available(if no limitation is stated they must fulfill the demand at that price). And under section 23 if an item is marked down. Myself as a consumer has the right to demand the marked down price and considering i attempted to make a purchase while the item was marked down and the seller then **** . Unless i know for a fact there is no longer stock and the proof I have is somehow proven wrong I will then drop the matter.regardless of what your system says I would then like to know why the 3rd party seller is confirming they have 18 units available but when trying to purchase an item at the marked down price we are told there is no stock.
