Makro BAD service

To Whom it may concern:

I had an online order with Makro for below items: MAK*** - 25/05/2023 X10 Boxes Rotatrim A4 Office Paper 80 gsm X3 Tipp-ex 15 ml Shake 'n Choose Correction Pens 2-Pack X5 Tipp-ex Micro Tape Twist

On the 26th I called the customer care department to cancel one of the items on the order, and while i was online with the agent I got an email saying my whole order was cancelled, I asked the agent what is happening, he put me on hold for a long time, and said the store cancelled the order, and a refund will be processed, I explained to him in so many words, I even sent an email prior to the call to customer service to cancel the one item, with no response. Instead the whole order was just cancelled. and to date no refund has been processed.

I placed the order again as I needed the paper, paid again, order details below: Order Number: MAK*** - 29/05/2023

Order was delivered 31st May, damaged, I received loose reams of paper instead of the boxes I ordered, 5 of the reams was damaged, I called customer services, was offered an apology, and said i must just logg a return, my issue with this was I ordered boxes and not reams, and had to deliver the reams to my client, which was not happy, but accepted it, had to go and purchase a box to replace the damaged paper, and yet I am still sitting with the damaged paper, I sent pictures and nobody called. I called several times and keep getting an apology but nothing get sorted out,

This is extremely poor customer service, you should take a look at how Takealot do things, no hassle with delivery, with orders, everything is on time, and you get notification every step of your order being processed to delivery from the delivery people, and if you have a problem they collect on scheduled date and time, and refund or credit is processed as said.

I am personnally a Takealot client, not sure why I went with Makro on this.
