I'm so disappointed went to Makro Springfield today 22/09/23 @ 14H50 to get cooler bag and 2 seat pad cushions, found cooler bag marked R289. 00 @ shelf and it was only 2 items one opened and one on the pack took the packed cooler and 4 items because the aim was the cooler bag and cushions,, went to checkout and the total came to +R980. look at the till and found out that the cooler bag scanned R649. 00 I told the cashier that it marked R289. 00 and I went to get the price tag at the shelf and she scanned it and came out to be another cooler bag and I sad but the reason why I took that cooler is because of the price she said they'll give me the cooler bag since they marked it wrong, she called the cashier Supervisor by the name of Sinothile he came over the cashier explained to her what transpired he went to the shelf he came back saying the marked price is for other cooler bag I said it's fine but where I find the cooler bag it's where the price tag was put, went to the shelf with him and I showed him where I pulled the tag he said but this tag is for other cooler ask him why they put it on the wrong cooler he called the merchandiser responsible he just starred at the prices and I ask them what the solution Sinothile "Supervisor" said no I can't give you the cooler bag with the price that you saw regardless of them marking it wrong said he can only minus R100. 00 I said no that not what I've seen just got another cooler bag since my son need it for tomorrow,, I'm very ****ed because if it was someone of color she/he will be given the cooler with the price marked on shelf. I told Supervisor that it's my right as a consumer to get the item with price marked on it even if it's 75percent less he said if you went to the car dealership and they marked the car R10000. 00 and forgot to put the zero to make it R100000. 00 you not going to get it don't know why that example,, they waisted my time don't see myself shopping at Marko period,, disgusted with the *********** customer service.
