Makro and Megamaster AVOID at all cost

I purchased a Megamaster Original Firescreen from Makro online on May 20, 2024. They stated that delivery would take about 5 working days. However, I received no communication from Makro except for the confirmation that they had taken my payment. After calling them three times, my issue was finally addressed when I spoke to a manager. The representatives I talked to were friendly but lacked the authority to resolve issues beyond creating escalations, which led to no follow-up.

The manager I spoke with contacted the supplier, Megamaster, and it became apparent that they were not interested in fulfilling the order placed through Makro. On June 13, I was informed that the item was out of stock and that my refund had been processed. Today is June 23, and I am still waiting for my refund. I strongly advise against purchasing from Makro or Megamaster, as they seem more interested in taking your money than addressing customer needs. This has been my worst experience.
