Makro and DaVinci POOR service
I bought a 3D printer online during lockdown in April.
1st We received the printer dirty. We had had endless problems with the printer, it did not feed the filament properly, the head would get so warm then would burn out, when printing it would miss spots.
We contacted Makro online (holding on for hours and use up all our talk time), we were told that the supplier is closed during lockdown. We asked if we can make the amendment our self due to us having a 3D printing shop close to us that is open. We were then told that is fine. We did ask about the warranty and was told that it will be valid until after lockdown.
These calls happend on three occasions and we did not get any assistance regarding all these errors on the printer.
We eventually went into Makro once the lockdown was lifted to go into the store. We were told that they cannot assist us, we have to put the complaint through the web portal (this was the 1st mention of this after numerous calls).
We then had to wait another two weeks before Makro came back to us.
They then gave us DaVinci's number. After numerous calls and emails they said they would look at the printer. They then sent a courier to collect the printer. Two weeks after waiting for a response we called and they said they will send us a email.
In this email we were charged for the courier and the amendments they made and said this was due to human error (Not once was this mentioned when speaking to Jaco or Graeme).
DaVinci is now sitting with my printer that was supposed to bring a little bit of income into my house, refusing to send it back after I paid for it at Makro.
I then went back to Makro and said that they must either pay DaVinci or refund me for the printer. Makro told me that they have to liase with DaVinci and now they keeps on ducking and diving me at all cost. This is now causing me to loose my talk time and income, trying to get answers to no avail.
