Makro Amanzimtoti no interest in customer service

Bought a Playstation controller on 5/12/21 at Makro Amanzimtoti. Took the controller back today as it is not working anymore. Only to get told that the warranty expired on the 6th of June....so I am a few days late. Went into the shop and bought a new controller, asked about the warranty and was told 12 months, then 6 months so not sure what it is. Am I going to be sorry I bought a controller from Makro again in 6 months? Most probably if this is how they treat regular customers...did not look at the controller just said sorry out of warranty.
