Makro Advertise product with no stock

I dont understand that a massive company like Makro will advertise items but have no stock.when I went to purchase boxes I was advised their stock will only on Thursday but yet again that was.false.they advised their supplier didnt send but every week they put adverti*****ts out so I am.quiet certain they should acknowledge their stock amounts.please can someone.from makro advise.
