Makro, a tale of two branches

Bought a toner cartridge that would not work only to discover that it expired 7 months ago. When I phoned the call centre they accidentally gave me the wrong phone number for cape gate, instead they gave me number: ***. The person who answered me at this branch was quite prepared to deliver me another cartridge to my house, but then realised I was connected to the wrong branch. When I phoned the correct branch, being Cape Gate, they said that the supplier (Brother) informed them that even though cartridges expire, it will still work. They were not prepared to deliver the cartridge today, only tomorrow. I told this person I am running a small business, but she was adamant that she is not by means to help me today. Wow two branches, different customer experience. Cape Gate you suc****!! DONT SELL STUFF THAT EXPIRED!!! Lesley Claassen ***

Reviewer Update
I received a call from the Multimedia department and that I appreciate. Janet apologized profusely (which I accept), but apologies don't put petrol in my car or make up for the inconvenience, not just to me, but also my daughter, who had to leave her varsity study group earlier so that she could exchange the expired cartridge for me. It would make more business sense to compensate me for my losses (fuel is not cheap!) in which ever form, a voucher or AA rate times the kilometers to your shop and back.
Eagerly awaiting your response in this regard.
Regards
Lesley Claassen
