Makro
Good day. I bought a epson printer from Makro on the 1st March 2021. On 16 March I open the box and install the printer. With no success. Receive a message that the ink pad has reached the end of his life and must contact epson. On 18 March I took the printer back to Makro Ottery where the Manager Mr Boer told me that I must book the printer in so that they can send it to Epson for repairs. I told him that this printer is new and need to replace as their is a fault with the printer. They phone epson and they also said the printer must be send to them to be repaired. I told Mr Boer that I will not book the printer in for repairs as I want a replacement or a refund. After I left I received a sms that they thank me for booking in a product. After the sms the sales guy phone me to apologize about the situation. I told him that I am on my way to buy a printer and that I do not want a replacement anymore, I want my money back. This way of treating a customer who have a problem with a product they sell is very very bad. The price of the printer is just less than R4000. I also have to travel about 20 km to Makro Ottery.
