Makro

Don't even deserve 1 star. 28 November 2020 purchased a R24 000 double door fridge freezer. Packed up yesterday. Lost all contents of freezer and fridge. Last year purchased a top loader washing machine that lasted 3 and a half weeks. Quick to take your money and sell extended warranties etc. But that's pretty much where it ends. Have to wait 3 working days from today bearing in mind public holidays and the weekend with a fridge full of rotten food for someone to come and look at the fridge. Beyond annoyed.

In addition to purchasing the R24 000 fridge and the additional R1900 additional warranty on 28 November 2020 we now have the additional financial burden of having to replace the contents as makro Pmb say they will not be held liable for contents. So it pretty much like rush and roulette purchase products from makro at your own
risk. DISGUSTING.

Take all your customers seriously? Then why did your manager hand up the call when I contacted your Pmb branch to complain? The only thing he was assured of before hanging up the call was that Makro will not entertain the cost of replacing the contents of the 1 month old fridge purchased from makro. Why should I have to take the knock of replacing all the food and meat? I already spent a fortune buying the fridge from makro on the first place only 1 month ago.
