Making their own rules regarding CPA

I took my four month old HP printer back to Makro as it refused to work.I was informed that it could only be repaired, even though it fell with in the Consumer Protection Act six month period. After in forming them that I do not accept it being repaired,I want it accessed ,and then either replaced or a cash refund. After almost three weeks of waiting I got a nSMS informing me it had been repaired, and I must collect it.I then phoned the store and stated I had Informed them I did not want repaired but either replaced or a refund. To which I was informed this Is Makro policy ,I must either accept it or tough luck.IN other words ****** the consumer we just make our own rules
