Ludicrous delivery costs

Makro's delivery cost is ridiculous. I recently purchased a 65' UHD TV at their Woodmead store. After pleading with them, I finally got them to drop the cost to R350 from R550. I live only 5km away from the store. The worst part is that if I bought it online, it would cost R70. If I bought it at Takealot, Loot or Raru, delivery would be free. This is highway ******* and it will be the last big purchase I make at Makro. If this goes on, people will stop buying in-store and jobs will be lost. Why punish loyal patrons. Terrible business model. And now, one less buyer with big buying power.
