Low quality product causing damage to home

I purchased a Whirlpool 7Kg Front Loader washing machine from Makro a few weeks back and I have to say I was very impressed with their service level. The item was delivered within 2 days, much earlier than expected (Although they failed to notify me of delivery). The shipping price was very low as well. The delivery guys were also quite professional and helpful. Unfortunately, after about 2 weeks of use, the inlet hose started to leak. As this item is connected behind the machine and under the sink, I only saw the leak the next day and overnight it had severely damaged the wooden built-in cupboards under the sink. The cable that came with my old LG washing machine worked with the same tap for 5 years without failure. I'm very surprised that a good brand like Whirlpool would ship their products with such low quality parts. And Whirlpool products cost more than the usual brands. Now I have a half destroyed cupboard and can't even use the machine until I get another inlet hose. It's not really Makro's fault but I purchased the item from them and people need to be careful when buying this product.
