Lie about stock availability when on promotion

<p>I wanted to buy a trmpoline from Makro. I saw it online on their store for R699, so I thought I would pop in to Strubensvalley to go see it and buy it. When I got there I discovered it was on promotion for R499 and that it was ending Monday 19th Sept, but they had no stock and all branches have no stock. I even called myself another branch and was told the same story. So I went to Game Clearwater mall as they had it but at almost double the price. So they say they will beat Makro's price once they confirm with Makro its the same thing and its selling for R699. So Game confirm with me today that they will beat Makro's price as it is R699 and its the same thing. However, Game was told that Makro have 3 in stock. So now I found out that I was **** to about stock just so they don't have to sell it at the promotion price. There is no way they got more stock since Sunday afternoon until monday early morning at 8:30am. I always thought companies would do this, but this just confirmed it. So I will be taking my business to Game as Makro are ******.</p>
