Laptop cannot be refunded, replaced or repaired!

I bought a brand new laptop from Makro on the 02 May and upon opening it the screen was pixilated. I returned it on the 06 May and till today the 27 June, i have not received a refund or a new laptop. Makro advised that they cannot repair the laptop either as parts are no longer available. In essence i was sold old stock that cannot be refunded, repaired or replaced.
