Knock-off (****) products sold online advertised as original

I recently purchased a Stanley quencher through Makro online. It was advertised as original price R1500 and it was sold on special for R700. As the quencher usually sells for around R1200 to R1300. It seemed like a bargain. I was even told at the Makro store when I went in to purchase the cup that the special was online only.

Paid, received the quencher and immediately noticed it was a knock-off and a poor one at that, didn't even arrive in a Stanley box. Also the straw was broken. This was purchased as a birthday gift so my daughter was extremely disappointed. I contacted your call center and they were extremely unhelpful and ***********. I have initiated the return 10 days ago but now I'm told I have to wait for the seller to evaluate the product. Evaluate what? The fact that it is a cheap knock-off or that it is broken. The reality here is you MAKRO sold me a **** product using false advertising. I purchased the product from you as you are supposed to be a reputable retailer. If I wanted a knock-off I could get one on Facebook marketplace and it be better quality than what you sold me.

Stating that the original price is R1500 is misleading and you should be ashamed of yourselves. As a loyal customer of your business, having bought all my my major appliances, tools and pool equipment from you for many years. I am extremely disappointed.

Kindly, expedite my refund.
